"Sacramento Gospel Conference" Hosted by GCBC - with Conrad Mbewe

The "Sacramento Gospel Conference" - an Immanuel Baptist Church conference - is coming to GCBC this year.

Due to the COVID-19 situation and Sacramento county restrictions on indoor gatherings, the leadership of GCBC has offered to host this wonderful conference this year.

Here's the info, and where to register! Conrad Mbewe has been a keynote speaker at Shepherd's Conference, the Strangefire Conference, Ligonier events, and many more. The theme this year is Missions and the church. The Great Commission of our Lord is unstoppable - missions is the theme of this conference may the Lord inspire and help us be faithful in what Has called us to. 

 

What the Sacramento Gospel Conference is About

The Sacramento Gospel Conference (SGC) has grown from a monthly fellowship of pastors, elders, and church officers representing from churches in the Sacramento area. Our fellowship is committed to strengthening church leaders in the following five commitments:

 

  • The Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ

  • The Centrality of the local church in God’s purposes & the Christian Life

  • Expositional preaching of the Bible as the steady diet of a church

  • The shepherding of the souls of Christ’s people as those who will give an account

  • The glory of God as the motivation for faithfulness in pastoral ministry.

 

From our fellowship, IBC launched the Sacramento Gospel Conference in 2015 with a three-fold aim: to encourage the congregations in our local fellowship, to make our fellowship of churches more “visible” in our area, and to reach out to other Christians and churches to encourage them in faithfulness to God’s Word.

 

This conference will be limited to 150 attendees and there will be no lunch provided, however they will provide packaged snacks and waters for the conference breaks.  Tickets may be purchased online or at the door. Click the "Buy Tickets" button to  buy your tickets now.
