VBS is coming!
This is a time for our church Body to serve the community through proclaiming the gospel to children and families, and to learn that Jesus word's are true: "it is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35).
As you prayerfully consider serving this summer, take a look at the list of areas and needs, and the VBS leadership team will also be prayerful as we watch and wait for who He will bring along for this summer.
Let's make Jesus known together this summer!

Remain steadfast in prayer for VBS…
- that we would be praying, planning, being devoted to reading and applying God's Word in our lives’ day by day.
- that we would be working hard to make VBS a place where students know they are loved by us and by God, and where the gospel is put on display through our words and deeds! (1 Thessalonians 2:8)
- that we embrace that Christ’s promise that “giving is more blessed than receiving” (Acts 20:35). We are engaging in Christ like sacrificial love, and it’s worth it!
- that we would trust that the gospel is truly the power of God to save! (Romans 1:16)
- that we would have clear understanding of the Bible passages to be taught, and that we’d explain the Truth well (especially our teachers and groups guides/leads), and that we would be on the look out for “teachable moments” to make the gospel clear to students
- that we would be strengthened physically and spiritually to do the work that the Lord has prepared for us (Eph 2:10)
- Pray for lasting impact on kids and parents, and on us! That people would come to know Christ, and that we would develop a greater love for the lost!
