ANNOUNCEMENTS 

• VBS Work Day: Tomorrow, June 2nd, from 2-6pm in the sanctuary. Open to anyone who is able to come for any amount of time! Help us prepare & set up for our Vacation Bible School summer outreach.
• Women of the Word Class: Mark your calendars, for three sessions on Thursdays, 6:00-8:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall:  May 25^th, June 1^st, and June 8^th to learn how to dive deeper into God’s Word.  Ages: Jr. High to Senior Saints.
• VBS Leadership Meeting: This Sunday, June 4th from 12:00pm-1:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. If you are serving this year, or intend to serve in VBS, this is an important meeting you will not want to miss. 
• Children's Sunday School Promotion: This week is "Promotion Sunday" for children's Sunday School! Children going into grades K, 2, 4, & 7 in the fall, will be moving up to the next age group. Children can be dropped off in their current classroom, and their teachers will help them transition to their new class during the sunday school hour.
• Foyer Use During The Worship Service: The pastors ask for the church lobby/foyer to be reserved during the church service for those trying to listen to the service or needing to step out to help noisy children. We also offer a nursing lounge and other options downstairs, but to aid the worship of those upstairs, please refrain from chatter with others in the lobby until the service ends. Thank you!

• Souper Senior Sunday: Sunday, June 11th at 12pm in the Fellowship Hall. Join us if you're 70 or better for a time of lunch and fellowship.

MINISTRY UPDATES

• Missions POM: Our May Project of the Month giving will go to Joyce Owen serving in Guam. they are in need of funds to repair extensive damage on the PIU campus due to the recent Typhoon. 
• VBS Camper Registration is Open: June 20, 21, 22 & BBQ on the 23rd. Visit gcb.church/vbs to register your child, or register as a volunteer if you have not already.
• PCS Health: In the church foyer there are baskets of baby bottles from Pregnancy Counseling Services in Placerville. Between Mother's Day and Father's Day, you can place any amount of money you would like to donate in a bottle to support PCS Health and thier mission. There is also a long-term opportunity: PCS Health has an opening for a Director, contact Judy Dixon or PCS Health directly if interested. 
• Ron Eicher Memorial Saturday, June 24th at GCBC, at 11:00am.
• Meaningful Membership Classes: May membership classes have come to a close, and will resume in the month of August. Membership classes take place quarterly. If you have any questions about membership, contact the GCBC office or one of the Pastors.
